Pervo sang

Denne sangen er rimelig pervers. Allikevel blir den spilt på radio i beste sendetid og overalt på utesteder m.m. Folk synger gjerne med på denne sangen og jeg undrer om de forstår hva "get a head", "tower of power" og "golden shower" betyr. De er gjerne mer opphengt i "Oh God I am the American dream" og "Oh God, oh God, I'm so fantastic!". Og "With a spindle up my butt till it makes me scream" ser ikke ut til å synke helt inn. Vel, enten så forstår ikke folk teksten eller så "er det greit" fordi sangen gir inntrykk av å være satire. Jeg vet ikke. Men jeg har klippet inn teksten her og lagt på noen lenker så folk kan lære seg den og forstå den. Kos deg ;)

About the Tower of Power, Frank Zappa said in an interview: "It´s a S&M device that they sell at a store in Los Angeles. It´s a stool... small stool, You know to sit on. That has this spindle that comes up, that´s sticks up Your asshole and it has straps on the legs of the stool where You supposed to put a persons ankle into the straps on the edge of the stool. And they actually sell this thing there and it´s called the Tower of Power."
